commission: sophia

A piece commissioned by the lovely *teash83. This is her character, Sophia. Once a ballerina on the tightrope, now a vampire huntress.

I fell in love with this character straight away! I was given a lot of freedom with this piece, and I had a lot of fun with it -- everything from deciding the pose, to designing the costume. It made me miss my dancing days.

I wanted this to have a vintage look. Also, I know some parts are messy & weirdly painted.. I'm still trying to figure out this loose style of mine.
